THERAPEUTIC SUPPORT
FOR ADULTS, ADOLESCENTS, FAMILIES AND CHILDREN OF ALL AGES
Hello and a warm welcome to A Pinch Of Positivity Counselling. I hope you find all the information you need here, if not please do not hesitate to contact me.
Let me Introduce myself...
My name is Claire. I have been a fully qualified counsellor for a number of years supporting people through difficult times. My work involves offering counselling to individuals, adolescents, children and families.
I aim to help anyway I can so I offer counselling in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire, in primary/secondary schools, and I am happy to do home visits too.
We can all feel overwhelmed and find life too much at times. I have been in a very dark place in my life myself and it can feel very isolating. I found it difficult to share with others in my family or friends for fear of judgements, opinions or causing distress to others. I found counselling a huge support for me and felt it offered me an outlet for everything and learnt so much about myself in the process.
I feel the therapeutic space is valuable and supportive and I offer a safe therapeutic space to allow others to feel able to share and explore what maybe troubling them.

Completed support for children in Time2Talk where they dropped in to share for a limited time either individually or in friendship groups about any worries, or issues raised.

I have since worked both privately and in local primary schools offering emotional support to children and young people for a number of years now.
